Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex in certain health programs and activities. In accordance with this law, we provide the following services:
- Effective communication: We provide aids and services, such as qualified sign language interpreters, to individuals with disabilities to help ensure effective communication.
- Language assistance: We provide language assistance services, such as qualified interpreters and translated materials, to individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP).
- Non-discrimination in care: We do not discriminate in the provision of services on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex.
